This went a little long, so I do not expect for you to read all this, no. XD
I think I'm not gonna describe what they look like but draw some references and upload them here when I get them done (=never :3)~
//Edit: Oh wth, I totally forgot Adrian :'D There he is at the end of the list
//Edit: hfihofihioafei I forgot Delias too XD
and for f*cks sake I wrote a huge amount of text and this stupid site logs me out and all that is lost into some fiofifjiodaj
I also went through the trouble of finding some pictures from my gallery to put here and of course the links have all been blown away as well.
To be honest, Ryou was my first character *ever*. I drew him and RP'd with him a couple of times but soon came to abandon him.
I don't really know what to tell about him, 'cause I never thought about his backgrounds or characteristics that much >'D The basic idea, though, was that his parents had been used in some stupid experiments and that's why he had this thing of shape-shifting into a lion every time the sun was up. So lame. On top of this their parents had died in a fire and they lived by themselves, he and Corina. I soon found his little sister Corina a lot more interesting and started to develop her a bit more.
At the moment Ryou plays the role of the over-concerned big brother. He has some issues with Jin harrassing his little sister and also tries to hide the fact that he has a crush on his roommate.
I can't help wondering why all of my characters are gay in some level XD
Char number 2, created to be Ryou's stupid little sister who has a huge crush on Jinx.
She of course shared the shape shifting curse with Ryou, but instead of a lion she turned into a cheetah. When she went through some sorta strong emotions (embarrasment for the most of all), her cheetah ears and tail popped out. She was the average japanese girl with the most cliché love problems and everything.
When starting to detail Corina a bit I also gave her and Ryou grandparents who'd take care of them. They still lived on their own but had an energetic ol' grandma concerning over them.
When we started to take this thing more seriously and a proper storyline finally came together, Corina's character really changed a lot. She remained as air-headed as before, but somewhat more pure and innocent. She has these weird thoughts once in a while and acts all goofy without caring about other people's opinions. That's probably the reason she's succeeded in staying alive all these years and not falling to the dark depths of oblivion. :'D
Well then.. how do you say this.. She keeps no stereotypes, no stereotypic thoughts, she doesn't judge anyone by appearance or first impression. That you can tell just by the fact that he falls in love with Jin, who is everything your mother warned you about, and even takes care of Dareios when needed.
I can't really tell much about her without telling her story. And considering how long her story is and how bad I am in summarizing stuff.. *le sigh* I'll write the whole storyline in a new journal sometime. I can't fill this one up with it 'cause this was supposed to tell something about the chars :'D
A sidecharacter made up for two purposes only - revealing Ryou's secret sexuality to her sister and mocking him during the yearly family gatherings :--D
Shinju is a complicated nature full of energy and at the same time, thoughts. She tends to write a lot and never lets anyone see her writings. She is Corina's and Ryou's cousin.
The 4th character in the row. One of Corina's friends that were needed in the story when she kept a birthday party :'D In time Miya developed into a proper, independent character.
Miya is the school's rebel who tears her schoolsuits in pieces to fit her style, colours her hair bright red and has a new boy/girlfriend every week. I think you got the impression. She says out loud everything she thinks and gets to regret it later. Miya's also the basic screaming fangirl and tends to be over-friendly with everyone she finds interesting.
She is greatly admired by a whole lot of girls and boys, not only for being her fabulous self, but also for having rich and popular parents. Her dad runs a leading company of some kind and is basically never home. Her mother used to be a model and is greatly stressed for having to take care of their home while her husband's at work.
Altough having lots of admirers, Miya has only a couple of very close friends. She's best friends (and used to be something more) with Takehito, and Yami & Corina are also the two closest friends of her.
She is at the moment dating Mikey for the longest time she's ever been with someone.
The 5th char. Also one of the friends that were created to participate in Corina's birthday party.
Yami is an annoyingly cute girl with a huge obsession with everything cute and fluffy. She loves dressing up in lolitas, talking to her stuffed teddybears, taking care of her two white bunnies, buying strawberry cupcakes just for their appearance etc. etc. She is also a huge fangirl, but instead of screaming she tends to faint or have nosebleeds.
Yami is incredibly shy and has never dated anyone or had a crush or anything. Dareios adores her but she's totally afraid of him. :'3 (Dareios is one of Jinx's incarnations, a 2m tall demon with the body of a killer but the nature of a 5-yr-old.)
6th char in the row, mostly developed by Kai. She's a total computer freak and a flamboyant tomboy who doesn't give a shit about anyone's opinions or thoughts and loves bringing chaos to the world.
She & Miya had some deeper interaction in some point, but they labeled it as an experiment. When they get left alone in a dark room, though, they're not that sure if it's true.
She's also quite a sidecharacter more than anything else.
6½th char, I'd say, 'cause I really used her only once. XD Yes, in that birthday party. She was the content, thoughtful and silent one.
8th char, am I right? We sorta just came up with the idea of someone raping Reawen when he runs away from home. >'D Later on we invented a whole story for them. That story, though, as well as the other ones, will be told in some other journal.
Diam is a korean man tired of his life and with connections to the underworld. He used to be a drug dealer and sold stolen stuff etc. He has a terrible habit of smoking, which costs him all his money and makes him live a poor life full of chinese fast food. Diam works at a small music store and his paycheck isn't that big to start with. It's also pretty ironic, that Diam of all my characters is the most trained one and has the most muscles. It ain't realistic at all with those ways of life but :'D
His braid is to remind him about his chinese origins. His dad didn't accept the fact of him being homosexual and threw him out, so Diam moved to the Southern Korea and hasn't been in touch with his father since then. (I know it isn't that simple just moving from China to Korea but these things take place in the future and his family is pretty damn rich so he could do as he pleased.)
Dan, his real name being Daniel, is the only Finnish character I've got :'D I'm not sure if he was created before Diam or not. Ahm.
Dan has this habit of falling to sleep *anywhere, anytime*. Usually he snaps out of the real world for a second or two and then wakes up again. I know it isn't that realistic either, but what the hell. It's a part of his personality >D
He's a pretty silent guy and doesn't speak his mind without thinking it through. He's kinda down-to-earth and is concerned of the global problems a lot.
He works at some horrible office (which is run by a frightening woman with a presence of a dominatrix) while studying... uhh.. I haven't really decided what it is that he studies >'D But he's in the university.
Well, anyways, one day when he had his lunch break, he noticed this adorably cute boy working at an ice cream booth. He starts going there every day on his lunch break and gets to know this boy called Don better. And here starts the relationship of this lovey-dovey couple.
He gets to know Don's family and through a long road makes friends with one of his brothers, Mikey. One time there happens to be a night when Dan finds Mikey all screwed up and drunk on the street and takes him to his place. In the morning Don comes with his own keys and finds Mikey sleeping in Dan's bed without his shirt and of course from here starts a roller coaster ride with mixed up emotions and misunderstandings.
Kaz was created before Dan and I at first used her in this Furry RPG that doesn't exist anymore. So yeah, she was an anthro at first, all-fur and everything. When I figured that the RPG wouldn't be the right place for me, Kaz lost her fur and eventually her long cheetah tail, too.
She isn't that detailed or well thought. She's half Russian, lives in Finland, is a vegan and bisexual. She was my first bisexual character in fact and I was soo proud of her because of that. XD.. The other chars got their sexualities decided later on.
Her hair is longlong and she dyes it dark green. I think it's a neutral ash brown, her natural colour. She likes wearing boys' clothes and is pretty tomboyish though it really doesn't show from the pictures I've drawn of her. *needs to draw her chars more.. especially the females*
I can't really describe her nature. May be because of the fact that I don't really know her that well myself either.
She thought Don was super cute and they ended up in a really dominating relationship. They actually ended up together just because they were the only single chars left without a partner. I've tried to make some sense of them being together, but in the end Don is just too ..Donyish for it to work out. But anyways, Kaz finds Don a bit (LOTS) too submissive for her tastes and can't help but admiring the fiery character of his brother Mikey. Mike basically just mocks Kaz and the other way around, so they have some kind of a hate enriched romance at some point. A one-nighter. When Don finds this out he's of course hurt and messed up and avoids seeing Kaz anywhere later on. They make up with Mikey pretty fast though.
Kaz's story continues with Christie after this.
My curly haired sängerin whose name has changed at least ten times. And I'm not saying I won't change it again. And oh, she used to be blind at some point, and mute at some. : D
Don is a real computer hacker-nerd-no-life in his early years so he gets to know Christie via Internet. Later she starts studying Finnish and comes to Finland as an exchange student. I think she has a crush on Don at first but as she gets to know Kazimira a lot of confusion and stuff about her sexuality steps up to the picture. Not too much gets to happen before she has to go home again though. Then there's a long period of angsting before she turns 18 and surprises Kaz by moving to Finland.
Christie wants to be a singer but is afraid she's too shy to perform to anyone. In reality though, the second she starts to sing she forgets every negative thought in her head and is able to perform. She just doesn't know this until it has been experienced on her first gig in a small club.
She also loves to read and write poems, stories and her own songs of course. Her interests hold in lots of new age stuff and she thinks a lot. Christie's also a vegetarian and tries to help the planet in every way she can.
The unrelated elemental sisters who are about to go through a makeover as soon as I get some motivation.
Nyola is the eldest, and she represents the north as well as controls air.
Eien comes second, If I remember the order correctly, represents east and controls water.
Wira is the rebel of west and controls fire.
Shai represents south and controls earth and plants and stuff.
There have been so many changes in their powers and in who controls what and who's older than the other. I made these four when I was a W.I.T.C.H. fangirl, so they had stupid costumes and all. They were totally unrelated to everything else, all the stories, plots and chars we had made up with Kai, but in one point there was this thing of them being the far away cousins of Mikey, Don, Leo & Raf cause they also had these elemental powers.
Nahh. I may as well get rid of these guys, but since I've drawn them here a couple of times, I thought it'd be nice to mention them here too.
At one sunny day at my grandma's I thought 'Now I shall start drawing cats!' ...And I did. Draw. Lots. Of cats. Yes. One that seemed to constantly pop up in my mind was this black&white red-eyed cat that had a blue tongue. He was mischievous and a bit arrogant and made tricks on people. This was the era of naming all the characters that I drew, even these random ones. So the mischievous cat was named Rin and he appeared on the covers of almost all of my notebooks and the pages of my English workbook.
Soon the white cat spoke all the languages I did, which were English, German and Finnish. Swedish as well, if you can count "jag inte bra" Swedish (Swedish lessons start when you're 13 and I was 12 then). Soon I became interested in Japanese and other Asian languages and so my cat knew all these too, and not too long after that Rin knew all the languages in the world completely. You can see my interest in becoming a translator here :'3
...In one point he could also change his size...I remember drawing a shitty strip comic about it...
The cat period continued, and Rin soon had company. Gen was the crazy psychopathic striped one with the power of hypnotization and Nippaa the playful young one with circles on her fur. As these three started to develop, they soon posessed human forms (that in fact haven't changed from that day at all, despite Nippaa's eye).
At first I came up with these stupid limits that they can be in their human forms for only 3 days or something and the number kept changing. Then I got rid of the whole limit thing and since then Rin & Gen have been in their human forms 24/7, needing a potion of some sort to change into cats, Nippaa still having the power as she knows how to use the energy around herself.
To the topic itself. Rin nowadays:
The three were made with the knowledge of modern science, sculpturing their bodies to be perfect and androgynous, creating their souls by combining the spiritual energies of human and cat. Their build and mind were modified to suit their awaiting profession - in Rin's case to be a professional spy - oh, btw, the cross on his forehead is the sign of the spy department. Thus his mind was made to be a never forgetting kind - once he sees something, he can't forget it. All it takes for him to learn something is to read it through and he will remember it the rest of his life. This applies to everything he sees, hears, smells or feels. So he has one hell of a memory.
(I had to figure out some excuse to give him the gift of all languages :'D)
The second speciality in him are his eyes - completely red, only dark rims around his irises to show where he's looking at - and they can zoom into anything in a certain range. His body is also very flexible and his long tail helps with balance.
The creating technique in spite of all wasn't complete so the bodies they created couldn't age beyond a certain point, causing their minds to age but bodies staying the same. Especially the spy department decided to keep their hybrids as youngsters, so that they would have the benefits of their small size. Thus Rin isn't as young as he looks like.
Rin's nature changed a lot from what it used to be the moment he got his human form. He's not arrogant at all, pretty quiet and thoughtful actually. I think he has to be, he has to have time to think about the things he's gone through and goes through every day. Remembering it all isn't all that fun.
At first sight he might seem to be shy, but that he is not. It just takes a while for him to trust people and be open with himself. When he gets to the point of being himself, he can show this mischievous and playful side of him, but only to some people.
God this is going to be looong...
In short, the agency that creates these non-humans, these hybrids, sends them to different missions from time to time. One of Rin's longest missions has been to help Kaya with her tests and examinations and be her 'servant' or whatever, so they know eachother pretty well and Rin holds great respect towards his Kaya-sama.
One of the tasks Kaya gives him is to bring Reawen back from the dead with her and Gen's help but that's a different story.
When they come back to our world, they're been told that the agency's unit of Japan has been destroyed. Lots of unfinished hybrids were there and only a few of them could be rescued. The head department orders the survived hybrids into groups of three and places them in different corners of the world while the Japan unit is being restored and repaired. The unfinished hybrids must have at least one of the highest and most trusted ones in their group to take care of them. So Rin has to pair up with Gen again to take care of Nippaa and they are being placed to the island of Kuroumeru near the leading Asian countries. The head department thinks that they can trust Gen to him as well since no-one else knows how to handle him. Neither does Rin, but luckily he succeeds to create a a relationship of collegues between the two of them. Gen isn't too concerned in Nippaa's well-being and leaves the whole caretaking to Rin.
I started to tell the plot, I see, but I think it explains the two lower characters so I'm not gonna shorten it. :/
Gen is a hybrid the same as Rin, so you can read his story before this one, I'm too tired to repeat.
Gen's modifications are the ability to hypnotize, to mesmerize, to persuade, to charm. He also has some inhuman strength hidden inside him that doesn't show in his skinny arms. He hates the fact that his tail wasn't removed in the long synthesis..es(? how the hell can you say the plural of this XD) but he's one of the first generation hybrids like Rin, so his spinal cord reaches the vertebras of his tail and they can't fix it without doing something radical to his being. The techniques in the first generation weren't that well-thought, you see.
Gen's right eye is hidden under the long brown locks of hair and not too many people get to see it and continue living. Ah the cliché. He has some scars upon it and it's paler and foggier by colour so you could easily think it has gone blind. It wouldn't be hard at all to fix it by a quick synthesis, no, but Gen's "charm" is just so huge that they have to confine it somehow. If he wishes to use it, it becomes as clear as the left one and the hypnosis is way stronger than before.
His way to spend time are to swing his monstrous sword or play sadistic games with his boytoys in his private torture chamber. Though being the total psychopathic loonatic that he is, he succeeds to have some kind of a romance with Reawen in the world of death and some feelings towards Jinx, his most long-term boytoy. He also respects Kaya and they've had their special moments as well. After them he finds Shifu lying on the asphalt on a highway and he's the first one to draw out some real love from him.
Oh and yeah, the fingernails on his right hand are long, sharp and black, the left one's are just normal. And I guess you know already that the whole backside of his white body is striped starkly + the one vertical stripe following his spine.
A hybrid like the upper two, read from their stories the facts.
Nippaa's abilities weren't finished cause of the explosion of the laboratory, so neither Gen or Rin has any idea of what she can do. Nippaa's mind is said to still be more of a cat's than human's, but you can't say for sure if it's true. Rin tries to constantly figure out, how much of the things spoken to her she understands and how her mind works. Kaya especially is really fond of this child, not to mention Reawen who has proclaimed her to be his favourite child of all time.
Her nature is the one of a normal child + some added cat-like energy and need to chase butterflies and skeins.
Her eyes don't pair and she can look pretty freaky because of that. There are stark circles on some places of her pale skin and when she turns her form into a cat's the circles begin to suck the energy near them into themselves, thus enabling the transformation.
Nippaa's body hasn't stopped aging yet, so she'll grow to be a teenager before it stops.
Yuji was created just for me, for my own purposes and for me to put him in the Prison of Mind RPG. He's a half demon and the half brother of ~Funeko's Jonathan.
Yu was transported into Seasalt Bay, a... discipline encampment...? I don't know how to say it, but it's an awful place for kids whatsoever. He was transported there because of the arsons he had started. His life wasn't that happy - no-one wanting to accompany the weird-looking pointy eared freak + the problems at home. He was adopted at the age of six so he knew very well that they weren't his biological parents. His father began to cheat on his mother and mom brought his frustration down on the boy. Yuji didn't want to disappoint the people important to him - his teacher or the couple owning the orphanage - so he kept on smiling, never showing any tears in his eyes.
Being the pyromaniac he is, loving to watch every flame from a candle's to a whole house burning, he burnt his so called mother one day when he couldn't take it any longer. His father then decided to get rid of the nuisance of a son and sent him to Seasalt Bay.
Then to the hard time of explaining Yuji's personality. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who can really understand how his mind works.
Yuji is polyamorous in his own way. He can, for an example, fall in love with guy A and be all lovey-dovey with him. Then he doesn't see this guy for a while and spots someone else - and pow - forgets person A. Then being all lovey-dovey with person B, not feeling an ounce of guilt or realizing it is wrong what he's doing. Then again he doesn't see B for a while, and someone else makes a move on him - and pow - he forgets the two earlier and starts to play with person C. And he isn't necessarily even serious with the guy or doesn't even find him interesting - and you really can't tell the difference. He's that good of an actor, it's his way of having fun. When A comes back to the picture, Yu forgets his time with B and C and focuses on the romance with A again. Same thing with all of them.
Then we get into a situation where A, B and C are about to find out of eachother. There's this certain part of Yuji's brain that knows how to get him out of situations like these, knows how to stop these kind of things from happening. You wouldn't believe it, since Yu's a happy over-energetic airhead on the surface, but his mind plots and engineers all kinds of plans of different situations all the time.
And, to mix this soup a little bit more, Yuji doesn't see anything bad in kissing and more with just friends, since that's also a way of showing someone you like them + being the general whore that he is, things get pretty mixed up. *le sigh*
Yuji wears mostly cold colours such as different blues, grays and violets, but can wear basically anything if he wants to. He has these huge bunches of hair products and make up with him even at the encampment and he's rarely seen without any makeup.
He loves climbing trees and other high places and everything containing liquorice and salmiakki.
When he turns 18 and gets out of Seasalt Bay, he moves to Kuroumeru and meets the other main characters of the chronicles.
The third char, if you count Ryou as an actual character; though I like to refer to Kaya as my first. She's one of the oldest and dearest to me, and still she's a complete mystery to me.
She's a vampire, an old one, and I haven't decided whether she was made on the 18th or the 19th century. My insight of vampires is pretty similar to the one in Anne Rice's books, but not wholly. There are some differences, but the most of it comes from these books that are so dear to me. >3<
Kaya works for herself, to conquer her thirst of information and understanding. She is one of the wisest beings on Earth, speaking of the time in which the main incidents of our chronicles happen. That's why the Agency which created Rin and the others, as well as it's rivaling Corporation, wants her to work for them, but she keeps her researches to herself. Sometimes she agrees to help the companies with their requests as she is then able to ask for a favor in return. So Kaya helps both of the companies without the other one knowing.
Her past is too long and full of things to describe, and I still wouldn't describe it even if it weren't, cause I change it all the time and put things in different order and everything.
Kaya has the basic powers of an experienced vampire; the ones who have read the Vampire Chronicles should know these things. Delicate senses, telepathic powers, persuasion and charm, moving things without touching etc. Besides this she can modify her appearance; she often grows her hair to almost touch the ground and when needed, she can arrange it to strips and make it sharp. The fox ears and tail she can also hide and grow back on but she seldom does that.
In the early stories, before she buys the laboratorium, she finds Jinx, probably the most main character of the chronicles. I really have to explain about him and the other characters of Kai's sometime. Anyways, she takes Jinx under her wing and teaches him how to use his powers and studies him all the same. He's like a little brother to her or a child she could never have. Lots of stuff happen during these years and the years after, but now I realize again that I've started to explain the plot, which was not my intention at all. Ugh.
Kaya has many years of life and lots of love to share, whether it's in the form of taking care of someone or having a relationship of a more serious kind. Reawen was probably the most affecting love of them all, but she loves him too much to keep him with her forever.
Kaya can be very childish and a real bitch when in the mood and she is very unreadable. She may explode with rage for just the littlest mistake, sometimes it takes very radical behaviour to get any anger out of her. Usually she is content and pretty cold and the people she loves bring out her best sides.
I think he was created a little before Yuji was.
Adrian is a normal, South-Korean boy with an American mother. His family was torn apart by his mother cheating his dad but is now in a pretty good condition. He has a big sister named Cho and the little brother Hae-Jin, whom his mother had from the secret affair, lives with them, too. Their mother soon after ran away with the man she loved, leaving all the kids with their father. She keeps in contact sometimes via letters.
Dad was hurt by this all but encouraged his children to learn English as well so they could make their mother proud and write their letters in English.
They soon moved to Kuroumeru after this, which had been recognized as an independent country by then. Because of this Adrian, who's not that good in making friends anyhow, had to leave all his friends behind him and the girl he liked as well. Which makes him very lonely, and because of his difficult nature he just swells in that loneliness without greater efforts of getting rid of it.
Adrian doesn't trust people and it takes a long time for him to be open with someone and be his true self. His temper is pretty bad and pride huge and he can be pretty attacking if irritated enough. Otherwise he tends to be cold, cynical and sarcastic to people. It's some sort of a self-defense he's got.
He pours his loneliness, frustration and other feelings down on to his diary. He's kept one as long as he can remember and thus knows how to write very well. His pride would suffer greatly if anyone could get their hands onto his writings so he hides them behind huge locks and boxes.
One day then, a black haired guy with pointy ears and an ego size of an elephant appears to his room out of nowhere. Jonathan is his name, and as you can guess, Adrian isn't very pleased with being caught on writing his journal, pouring out everything inside him.
Jona refuses to answer to any fundamental questions but snuggles his way out of them and acts a bit too friendly for Adrian to cooperate. If you can call his behaviour 'friendly' since as a demon he's a cold, arrogant and mischievous bastard addicted to drawing strong reactions out of people.
Jonathan doesn't talk straight but hints to something like he'd be the creation of Ria's imagination or that he made him up for his own comfort. So Adrian doesn't know what to believe and how to act near him, but in time their relationship develops to some level.
Ria doesn't know - at least not yet - any other main characters of the stories, he's too busy with his own.
He wears mostly warm colours, brown, orange, red, black and some grays and greens. With his brown hair and orange-ish eyes he's the total contrast of the all-blue and cold Jonathan.
His looks are way too feminine for his own tastes.
Me and Kai had this idea of the son of Satan and the son of God falling in love XD But it'd be way too disturbing, so we made up a longer story.
When you die and you say that you see angels or little devils or whatever... You've in fact just been on the way to some higher place, but the creatures you've seen have not been a part of that higher level. The route to that place just happens to go through the planet of Pandemonium (I think we shall rename it :'D) and the creatures you see merely live there.
Pandemonium is split in two parts. The other part greets the sun with joy and happiness and is very much alike to the stereotypes of Heaven that we have here. The other part again resembles our insights of Hell; the people are different in colour, horns, leathered wings, fur, spikes growing out of them, looking like the creatures we call devils or demons. This side of Pandemonium bares a lot of suffering and everything, but it has it's reasons that I'm not going to list here.
Both of these sides have their own rulers, two gods with enormous power, ones who cannot die and have ruled there since the creation of their planet.
Both rulers have sons, and Delias is the son who shall in time rule the Darker side of Pandemonium. He just doesn't know this yet. His mother is a god-like creature from another level and with her powers she shows him what life is like on the side of Light. Delias can't take his eyes off of the blonde boy she shows him, and when the night comes he can't get him out of his mind. She begs a slave, a low-cast, to show him the way to the other side. There he begins to follow this blonde, shrinking to the (very few) shadows when he's about to look back.
Then the time comes that his father tells him he's now strong and old enough to train with the Light's son. He gets to use the huge main gates and is brought to the palace of the Light. There he realizes that the blonde he'd been following will be his opponent. Viljami, the son of Light. Damn.
So they start training. And they train. And train. And talk. And get to know eachother. Their relationship starts to go to a pretty twisted direction and once Deli's father finds out that their interaction is something a bit different than training, he gets furious and their fathers order them a punisment; they are being sent to our world. What's the bad and cruel thing about it for it to be used as a punishment, I don't know, I'm still working on it XD
Though the rulers agreed that they shall strip their offsprings of almost all of their powers, both of them secretly just add some (=lots) extra to them, even though the boys don't know how to use them properly. Stupid ambitious fathers trying to make sure their own son wins if they happen to fight eachother.
These powers that Delias gets from his father are a mystery to him, but soon he learns that they pour out of him when he goes through some strong emotions, the effect depending on the feeling: when they fight, the earth all but crumbles and when they stop fighting and are merely sad about it, rain all but floods the streets; when things go well between them, the birds sing more beautifully than ever and every cloud seems to have a pink shade on it.
Anyways, though Delias is very laid-back, his nature is also very energetic and his temper pretty bad, so he has to restrain himself of these strong feelings, fighting against himself to keep a smile on his face.
..9 out of ten times he fails badly. XD
He is very much irritated by for example the people who don't seem to like him.
Vili pretty much knows the ways of human life 'cause his mother is a water nymph that lives on this planet, in Finland. (So that's where the Finnish name comes from.) The rule that was given to them was that if they kept seeing eachother, the time spent there would always grow in length and they had to keep some distance if they ever wanted to return home.
Delias is so out of it when arriving to this planet that Vili has no other choice but to take care of him at first. Convincing himself over and over that after this he will leave him alone. Of course their affair during this time starts to develop even further and in the end he remains, not cause he has to, but cause he wants to.
Deli is soon accustomed to the human habits - such as swearing. So Viljami grows a habit himself of slapping him every time his swears contain something indicating Heaven or Hell, God or Satan etc. (Kuvittele ny Saatanan poikaa hokemassa jumalautaa :'D)
And here we go again with the plot. I just can't seem to restrain myself.
Delias has a pair of wings that consist of feathers, bones and leather in their own freaky way. He can grow them out of his back, but this hurts quite a lot, so he seldom does it.
His other speciality is his huge imagination. He can very realistically imagine something happening around him and in this way creating an illusion of the imagined incident. This is quite useful in a fight, as he can cause pain to his opponent very easily. His father has 'trained' him to know several meanings of pain, so it's not hard for him to imagine (=remember) what it is like to suffer.
He also loves to tease Viljami with this ability of his in the most disturbing ways. XD
He gets to know Kaya and a few others later on the story.

I wonder how long I've been sitting here. Seriously.

Thank you very much for the watch.

Glad to say that "keeping up with the joneses" no longer means it's time to go see my dealer...

What people tell about themselves and what they really are is something very different.
